You don’t have to be alone to be by yourself.

Small, hosted rooms you join from your couch, your desk or your bed, on your laptop or phone.

A small room. A few people. No pressure.

alone together is a place to share space at your own pace. Join a hosted online room, do your own thing, and feel a little less on your own.

Small on purpose

Up to three guests and a host. Enough to feel like company, never a crowd.

Nothing expected

Chat, ask a quick question, or just get on with your thing. Camera optional.

Private by design

The door stays locked. You knock, your host lets you in. Nothing is recorded.

How it works

No app, no account, no introductions.

1

Knock

Open the room link in your browser, type the name you’d like to use, and knock.

2

Settle in

Your host lets you in at the start time. Camera on or off, chatty or quiet. All of it is welcome.

3

Stay or go

Rooms last about thirty minutes. Leave whenever you like, no explanation needed.

Good to know

What do people actually do in a room?

Whatever suits them. Some chat, some ask a quick question, some work, read or make something. You can switch any time.

Do I have to turn my camera on?

No. Cameras are optional. Come as just a name if that feels right.

Are rooms recorded?

No. We don’t record sessions, and we ask guests not to record either. What happens in a room stays in the room.

Who can join?

Rooms are for adults 18 and over. Please read our Room Guidelines before you join.
